The world right on our doorstep
SDT is based in Northern Germany. And operates globally. For us, 'Northern German' primarily means: reliable, quality-conscious, flexible, straightforward, and of course – cosmopolitan. From the US East Coast, across Cape Horn, to the Persian Gulf: Our maintenance and repair teams are deployed for our customers on almost all continents.
Since 2008, after relocating from Kiel, SDT's headquarters have been in Rendsburg, situated directly on the Obereider and the Kiel Canal. Here, we have a location with optimal production conditions and excellent infrastructure.
To serve our customers in the North Sea and Baltic Sea even faster and more efficiently, we have established bases on Helgoland, in Wilhelmshaven, and in Stralsund. This enables us to reach ships and offshore platforms in all five German coastal states, usually within 1.5 hours.
